Medical Image Analysis

Modern Optimization Analysis, Algorithms and Clinical Applications

The 2013 MedIA Seminar Series, presented by Robarts Research Institute, will be on-going from the 23rd of July to the 17th of September. Talks will take place every Tuesday from approximately 12:30 to 1:30 in the Fisher Room on the second floor of Robarts Research Institute.

The focus of this seminar will be to address many problems of medical image analysis, as well as present an overview of the successful imaging practices which were contributed by the students and researchers in Robarts within the recent two years. It includes a wide spectrum of research topics, each of which focuses on both the most recent application, with a direct real-world clinical connection, and the modern optimization algorithm. There will be a total of four lectures and 10 talks.
